On Saturday 17 January, in the Sbisà Room of Magazzino 26 in Porto Vecchio, Trieste, the exhibition curated by Claudio Ernè and Massimiliano Muner, “Volti di donna. Nella Trieste della Belle Époque” (Faces of Women. In Trieste during the Belle Époque), opened. The exhibition offers the city a surprisingly modern view of its daily life at the beginning of the 20th century.
The exhibition, which runs until 15 March 2026, brings together 70 photographs printed on panels and 100 original photographs, creating a fascinating collection that allows visitors to rediscover the atmosphere, gestures and faces of a changing era.
