Following the success of the exhibitions in Bologna, Milan and Rome, which attracted over 80,000 visitors, the Salone degli Incanti in Trieste will host a retrospective of Jack Vettriano (1951–2025), featuring a selection of over 80 works by the Scottish artist, who is one of the most beloved painters amongst the international public and was awarded the OBE (Order of the British Empire) by Queen Elizabeth II for services to the visual arts.
The exhibition offers an intimate and extraordinary journey into the visual world of Jack Vettriano, one of the most beloved, collected and reproduced artists of our time, through over 80 works, including paintings, works on paper, photographs and audiovisual material. It was conceived and commissioned by Vettriano himself to provide an in-depth insight into the evolution of his artistic practice and the essence of his most famous subjects, and to share his art with the general public who have always supported him and made him famous.
