In the spring of 2026, the impressive setting of Magazzino 26 in Trieste’s Old Port will host the fifth edition of the International Women’s Biennale, showcasing works by numerous female artists from Australia, China, India, Africa, the Americas and, of course, Europe.

BID26ART is the only Biennale of contemporary art aimed at female artists and born from the desire to create an exhibition space dedicated exclusively to the female world, with the aim of giving voice and visibility to emerging contemporary artists of great talent. 

The initiative is promoted by the International Women's Biennial Association in co-organization with the City of Trieste and under the patronage of the Italian Ministry of Culture.
