A Karst farm that practices viticulture and raises pigs in natural conditions.
A great place to sample the typical flavours of Karst cuisine. Crudo del Carso, the undisputed star of appetisers, roasted ham in a bread crust, served with mustard and horseradish, the legendary seasoned sausages - these are just some of Bajta's specialties.
Homemade potato or bread gnocchi are also offered, served with meat sauces such as goulash or sausage ragout. A particular speciality is buckwheat pasta seasoned with a creamy walnut sauce, or tasty pancakes, sometimes prepared with native plants such as dandelion.
The meat, from animals raised naturally, is grilled to guarantee a healthy, nutritious and above all tasty product. Bread is all homemade, and the vegetables, prepared by a great variety of methods, are from the garden.
Desserts are also a specialty and are, of course, homemade. Your meal can be rounded off with an excellent house grappa and a walk round the farm or a visit to the well-stocked cellars.
Children are welcome and can play in safety in the well-equipped play area.
