Below the terraces there are changing rooms, toilets and showers.
The first Topolini terraces, nearest to Trieste, are primarily used by mothers with children and elderly people, since there are two small pebble beaches. On the further terraces, the sea is accessed via steps or by jumping right in, to the delight of youngsters who stage diving competitions.
Lifeguards ensure safe bathing. The bathing area is marked with buoys.
Disabled visitors can make use of the access ramp to the platform beneath the terrace and another ramp that leads to the sea.
There is also a toilet equipped with a wash basin and an alarm bell.
