The tomb of Charlemagne

Legend has it that one night an angel was sent by the Lord to Charlemagne, who at the time was an old and tired king, and told him to travel with a few servants to the valley carved out by the Rosandra River.
There he would find a cave that would soon become his tomb. The old monarch immediately obeyed the Lord, and when he reached the Rosandra Valley he discovered a cave with a large stone chair inside. As soon as Charlemagne sat down the cave collapsed, and he was buried and turned into stone.

They say that the good king is still there, watching over the valley, and that he will awake from his sleep on the day of the Last Judgement to take his place beside God.
