Cadenaro bakery pastry shop Chocolaterie

There are three shops in Trieste where you can taste and buy the products made by the Cadenaro family: Via Rittmeyer, Via Giulia and Via Palestrina, the latter has recently been refurbished.

"Quality, tradition, passion and courtesy" are the principles that drive the company managed by brothers Roberto and Paolo Cadenaro, third generation of a family dedicated to spoiling the palates of the people and visitors of Trieste.

The first bakery opened in 1962, in Cattinara. Since then, year after year, the company has grown thanks to the family's enthusiasm and love for its job. 

Cadenaro offers fresh artisanal products: from bread to tall leavened cakes, including Trieste's traditional pastries, cakes and modern specialities, chocolate, jams and jellies.
