Parenzana
It runs along the old Austrian railroad crossing the wonderful Istrian countryside and connecting two sea cities: Trieste and Poreč.
It is most recommended to start the cycling tour from Muggia, reaching this beautiful village by the sea, taking the Delfino Verde boat from Trieste.
Nowadays the Istrian countryside, now sparsely populated, is highly charming thanks to its medieval villages, olive tree groves, vineyards and gentle hills following one another to the sea.

Start: we suggest from Muggia (by boat from Trieste with Delfino Verde)
Finish: Poreč, Croatia
km: 118 one way
Type of track: asphalt, dirty road, several rises and slopes
Difficulty: medium (Slo), hard (Croatia)
