Sea Watching at the Miramare Marina Nature Reserve

Tours of the Trieste WWF nature reserve are available on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays!

Extraordinary marine biodiversity lies under the sea, at the foot of the white Miramare Castle: but how can it be explored?

With a guided snorkelling tour of the Marine Protected Area of Miramare provided by WWF staff. Available in June, July and August, the tours will accompany small groups to observe the vast variety of species present in the Reserve.

> Sea-watching from land tour, starting from Bagno Ducale (Miramare): every Saturday and Sunday from 19 June to 29 August, at 10 am and 4 pm
DURATION: approximately 2.5 hours
MEETING POINT: BioMa (former Castello di Miramare Stables)
FACILITIES: wetsuit and fins on free loan; guided visit to BioMa; services and changing rooms available to participants
REQUIREMENTS: ability to swim and use a snorkel
BOOKING: mandatory!

> Evening sea-watching boat tour, departing from Grignano: every Wednesday from 23rd June to 25th August at 6.30pm
DURATION: approximately two hours/2.5 hours
MEETING POINT: at the small Grignano (nautical company) marina
PRICE: €22 per person
FACILITIES: free voucher for a free entry to BioMa to be used by 2020
REQUIREMENTS: ability to swim and use a snorkel
