Mini Mu
San Giovanni Youth Park
Mini Mu is a "space" without boundaries in the San Giovanni Park and features areas that can be used for workshops, exhibitions and theatre performances. The San Giovanni Youth Park was created thanks to collaboration among the Province of Trieste, Trieste Health Centre No. 1 and Gruppo Immagine, a cultural association that promotes projects that foster "divergent thought", with a particular focus on childhood and adolescence.
Gruppo Immagine relies on professionals, artists and teachers who have educational and research experience and can make use of educational language and a method that has been honed based on the ideas of Munari.
Mini Mu helps strengthen friendly relations and cultural cooperation with neighbouring countries and develops ties with various facets of the City of Trieste, particularly culture, art and schools.
Mini Mu is a venue for workshops, exhibitions, educational research, conferences on topics relating to educating children and cataloguing the playing with art and children's museums methodologies.
Workshops must be reserved in advance and are held only if the minimum number of participants is reached.
